The secondary school qualification is the European Baccalaureate. This is officially recognised and approved by all European Union member states, in addition to Switzerland, Canada and USA. Thanks to this broad range of acceptance, the European Schools’ qualification surpasses the level of recognition of Abitur and IB (see the European School system). The European School RheinMain enjoys complete compatibility with the English and German school systems. A school report showing proof of advancement (Promotion) to the next school year entitles a pupil to transfer to the ESRM.
