Teacher in Art

The European School RheinMain has the following position available in secondary school (grades 6 to 12). The position is full-time.

​

- Teacher in Art (German and English language fluency is a must).


We are looking for a teacher in the Upper Secondary cycle to prepare our students for the European Baccalaureate.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The teacher plans the promotion of good progress for all students.

  • Ensures harmonized curriculum planning, maintaining coherence and the European dimension.

  • Fulfills the subject curriculum/program/syllabus as prescribed.

  • Ensures a smooth transition between classes and grades.

  • Promotes and documents the good progress and achievements of students.

  • Sets appropriately high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.

  • Plans and delivers well-structured lessons.

  • Uses various teaching and learning methods, including technological means tailored to the content.

  • Encourages students to actively participate in their own learning process.

  • Has a good knowledge of the subject and the curriculum as well as the European dimension.

  • Adapts the teaching process to the strengths and needs of all students.

  • Contributes to the harmonization of assessment across subjects, departments, and grades.

  • Knows and applies the principles of formative and summative assessment.

  • Makes a positive contribution to the overall school life and ethos.

  • Participates in joint tasks, organizational, and coordination work.

  • Cooperates and communicates efficiently with members of the school community.
